I have to say, I absolutely loved playing the new Immortal Romance Sarah’s Secret Power Combo slot demo. Then again, I’m a sucker for a ‘pot’ game and a Hold and Spin.
Created by Stormcraft Studios and released by Games Global, the slot is unlike the previous Immortal Romance games in terms of gameplay. It uses the Power Combo mechanic with five Link&Win features you can trigger either singularly or in multiple combinations and they can pop at any time.
With above average 96.50% RTP and easy to follow bonus features, Immortal Romance Sarah’s Secret is suitable for beginners. However, the high volatility can be frustrating, especially when the pots appear full and still don’t trigger. You might get more from this game if you already know the franchise well, but most players will find it engaging anyway. It even gives a ‘TV series style’ story recap when you launch the game.

Bonus Features
The Power Combo feature in Immortal Romance Sarah’s Secret leads to a Link&Win Bonus. However, because there are five different modifiers, the mechanics of the bonus depends on which of the five features have triggered.
As you spin the reels, fireballs will land, and, depending on their colour, they will fill one of the bottles above. In theory, when the bottle is full, the feature will trigger, but this isn’t the case. The bottles are more of a visual representation of the bonus, the trigger will still occur randomly.
You can either get a single feature, or a multiple feature with two, three, four or all five of the features active. In total, there are 31 different combinations!
The features are:
- Supernova – Collects the sum of all the prizes
- Barrage – Adds its value to all other prizes
- Surge – Increases its own value on every spin
- Magnify – Applies a random multiplier between 2x – 5x to every value landed on that spin

Immortal Romance Sarah’s Secret is a quality follow up to the previous games. Building on the theme and characters from much-loved Immortal Romance slots was always going to be a winner. Saying that, it’s been done very well. I love the visuals, the moody atmosphere, and the Power Combo mechanic is one of my favourites too.
It won’t suit every player though. The high volatility can be tough, and other than the Link& Win feature there’s not that much else going on. I would also suggest that some die-hard Immortal Romance fans might be disappointed in the lack of further narrative or storytelling. Overall though, I can see myself playing this a lot.
