For those at iGamingNuts, it’s also a chance to enjoy the annual Christmas party, which takes place on Christmas eve every year. The iGamingNuts team may be based across multiple places, but this annual party includes everyone, letting remote and office-based workers meet and enjoy the festivities together.
While Christmas parties might be a common occurrence for offices across Europe, there’s nothing quite like an iGamingNuts party, which offers the chance for employees to meet up and enjoy the evening together. Like any good Christmas party, it provides a boost to morale and gives everyone a chance to talk about anything they like rather than the same old work topics.
Christmas with iGamingNuts
Every year, the iGamingNuts team meet up to celebrate Christmas together and enjoy socialising before the holidays. Like any festive event, it includes plenty of food, drink and fun, giving all employees a chance to unwind and relax while getting to know each other better.
For the Christmas Eve 2022 party, iGamingNuts employees from many places met up in Gdansk, Poland. Gdansk is a charming setting for a Christmas party. The city has a rich history and cultural heritage, and its historical architecture and beautiful streets make it a great destination for the holidays. Christmas Eve is traditionally one of the most important holidays in Poland, and it’s celebrated in Gdansk with Christmas lights, markets and food.
The evening began with a festive feast featuring local delicacies and traditional Christmas dishes, served with all the trimmings. Included were dishes such as carp caught fresh from the Baltic Sea, along with delicious pierogi. During dinner, conversation flows as employees share memories and experiences of the past year. It’s a time to reflect on work in an informal way while also telling jokes and discussing plans for the holiday. Of course, the food was also a topic of conversation, and the warm atmosphere was enjoyed by all.
Once the plates were cleared and with everyone well and truly stuffed, it was time to take a stroll in the cool night air of the city while enjoying some traditional Polish drinks. With the snowy streets illuminated by the soft glow of the streetlights, it was like a scene from a postcard and the perfect way to cap off a perfect evening.
How a Christmas Party Helps Prepare for the New Year
The iGamingNuts Christmas party gave employees a chance to blow off some steam and have fun together, forming lasting friendships. For remote workers, it was a chance to meet colleagues for the first time and allowed everyone to get to know each other in a more informal setting.
